1. Who we are

Mik Scents PH is the personal information controller for data collected through this site. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

2. What we collect

Order details: your name, email and/or mobile number, delivery address, the items you ordered, and payment confirmation details (such as a reference number or screenshot). We never see or store your full card or e-wallet login.

Account details: if you register, your name, email, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), saved addresses, wishlist, and order history.

Messages: what you send us through the chat assistant, contact forms, or Messenger.

Technical data: cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your cart, and basic logs (IP address, browser) used for security and spam protection.

3. How we use it

To confirm and process orders, arrange payment and delivery, send order updates, provide customer support, run your account and membership benefits, and prevent fraud and spam. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who we share it with

Only what is needed: couriers get your name, address, and phone number to deliver; payment providers process your payment; and our hosting, email, and security providers (such as Cloudflare) store and protect the site. We may also disclose data when required by law.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for the order and for tax and accounting requirements. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Chat messages and logs are kept only as long as needed for support and security.

6. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

We may update this policy. The latest version and its last-updated date are always posted on this page.
